Man City have the most profitable academy in the Premier League over the last decade, new data seen by Football Insider shows.
City have trousered 230.7million from selling homegrown talents since 2013-14, the eighth-highest return in Europe.
The Football Investment Report published byeToroand football data siteTransfermarktshows that City are the only English side in the top 10.
Their 230.7m figure, however, is still less than half of the 476.3m that top earners Benfica banked from selling stars such as Joao Felix as well as Ruben Dias and Ederson both to City over the same period.
Neither City nor any other Premier League sides are in the top 10 for transfer profit in the last decade, with Benfica again topping that list followed by the likes of Ajax, Lille and Red Bull Salzburg.

The likes of Gavin Bazunu and Romeo Lavia, both of whom signed for Southampton last summer, are among the graduates to have left City for big fees without having made a single league appearance.
Brahim Diaz, Angelino, Angus Gunn, Lukas Nmecha, Jason Denayer, Pablo Maffeo and Kelechi Iheanacho are also examples of academy success stories in recent years.
Jadon Sancho meanwhile left City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017, with City netting an initial 10m fee plus another 10m following his move to Man United in July 2021.
The academy has also produced current first-team stars Phil Foden, Rico Lewis and Cole Palmer.
The City Football Group multi-club network encompasses 12 teams worldwide and has allowed City to nurture young talent overseas before bringing them back to the mothership.
